Technical sergeant promotions announced

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- More than 6,684 staff sergeants have been selected for promotion to technical sergeant, Air Force officials said today. The 6,684 selected represent 17.43 percent of the 38,344 eligible.

The average score for those selected is 337.23. Selectees' average time in grade is 5.30 years and time in service is 10.53 years. Their average enlisted performance report score is 133.02 and the average decoration score is 6.01. Selectees' average promotion fitness examination score is 68.89 and the average specialty knowledge test score is 66.32.
