Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month begins April 1. This year’s theme is “Protecting Our People, Protects Our Mission.”
“Regardless of rank, grade, or job specialty, we all can take action to "protect our people" which in turn protects our mission,” said Yvonne Viel, violence prevention integrator. “By working together, we can advance the Air Force’s mission by creating an environment where negative behaviors are not tolerated, condoned, or ignored.”
The month’s events here include:
April 6 - Color Me Aware 5K Fun Run, 6:30 a.m. show time, 7 a.m. start time, CE Pavilion. Participants are encouraged to wear a plain white t-shirt. Event is free and open to everyone with base access, no sign-up required. For more information, call 882-2122.
