Colonel goes on walkabout
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Tech. Sgt. Harley Campbell, 96th Communication Squadron cable and antenna systems, goes over the Trimble with Col. Bruce McClintock, 96th Air Base Wing commander, during a weekly walkabout Jan. 30. The Trimble is a Global Position System used to locate and mark buried cable and infrastructure around Eglin's 724 square miles of land. The squadron is responsible for providing command, control and communications capability to more than 243,000 military and civilian aircraft operations per year. Colonel McClintock and Chief Master Sgt. Troy Engholm, 96th ABW command chief master sergeant, take a weekly walkabout visit to the units on base to applaud their successes and determine their needs for mission accomplishment.
