This week, I had the privilege of returning to the 96th Test Wing and it is truly an honor to be back here and a part of this outstanding organization. Brig. Gen. Azzano’s leadership and vision will be missed, but he was the perfect choice to serve as director of Air Force Materiel Command's Air, Space and Cyberspace Operations at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.  Thanks to everyone that helped with the transition and ensured Azzano and his family knew how much Team Eglin appreciated their sacrifice and service.

Today, our nation and our Allies face many new challenges. The 96th TW plays a crucial role in forging and sharpening the air, space and cyberspace capabilities required to maintain our nation’s security.  The installation, equipment and test ranges we manage are vital to ensuring the Air Force and our other mission partners are able to execute their combat missions, develop and test new capabilities, or train for future operations.

I am committed to ensuring our organization remains relevant and has the capacity, sustainability and talent to support the needs of the Air Force and the DoD.  In the coming weeks, I plan to get immersed with our mission/operations and visit organizations around the Wing and then visit our partners and community.

Thank you for your service to our nation.  I look forward to working with you as we continue to execute our mission, support our mission partners and tackle the challenges ahead.
