Eglin hosts LEGACY STEM students
Capt. Shawna Larson, 96th Medical Group, hands out medical scrubs to a group of LEGACY STEM students June 16 during a tour at the 96th Medical Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. While at the hospital each student had an opportunity to do a mock surgical procedure with gummy bears using the unit’s DaVinci Robotics System. The group of 24 students visited the base as part of Wright-Patterson’s LEGACY Craftsman Camp here to introduce and encourage interest in STEM related career fields in the Air Force.
