Students "make landing" in Marsville
Dozens of "Mars habitats" were constructed May 9, as the 96th Civil Engineer Group hosted over 330 fifth grade students for their 18th annual Marsville. The event, which took place in a 33rd Fighter Wing hangar at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., brought together fifth graders from Baker Elementary, Lewis School, Longwood Elementary and Wright Elementary and more than 80 volunteers representing Air Force, Marine and Navy units across base. The goal of the annual program is to inspire students to enter the highly demanding career fields of science, technology, engineering and math. (U.S. Air Force photo/Sara Vidoni)
