Honor Guard trains local sheriffs
Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard bring in the colors after being taught the Air Force way to carry flags and rifles at ceremonies by Eglin’s Honor Guard during a training session on base Feb. 1. The OCSO team came together with Eglin’s honor guard to learn military protocols used during various ceremonies such as retirements, funerals, etc. This was the first of many proposed training sessions between the two teams.
