Honor Guard trains local sheriffs

A member of Team Eglin’s Honor Guard shows Deputy Brad Suhi-Moore, of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, the proper way to hold a flag while carrying it at a ceremony during a training session on base Feb. 1. The OCSO team came together with Eglin’s honor guard to learn military protocols used during various ceremonies such as retirements, funerals, etc. During this first training session Eglin’s Airmen taught them proper movements while carrying flags and rifles. This was the first of many proposed training sessions between the two teams. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
