100th F-35A flight at Eglin

An F-35A Lightning II joint strike fighter rolls by after completing the 100th A variant flight at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Aug. 16. The 100th and 101st sortie were flown by Lt. Col. Lee Kloos, the 58th Fighter Wing commander and Col. Andrew Toth, the 33rd Fighter Wing commander. The two-ship training sortie was Toth’s second familiarization flight in the F-35. The Air Force and Marine Corps pilots accomplish morning and afternoon sorties every day, depending on the weather. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
