Running in memory

Staff Sgt. Michael Edwards, of the 96th Civil Engineer Squadron, completes the 5K run in a flak jacket and backpack June 26 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. More than 50 runners turned out for the run to honor and remember Tech. Sgt. Daniel Douville, an explosive ordnance disposal Airman from Eglin, who was killed in Afghanistan. The run, which was led by the 96th EOD flight, marked the one year anniversary of his death. Douville’s name was added to the EOD Memorial Wall earlier this year.
