Old tower
Workers begin to move Duke Field’s old air traffic control tower toward a flat bed truck after it was taken down Dec. 3. The tower, managed by the 46th Test Wing, was continuously used in guiding in aircraft at Duke Field since the 1950s. It was replaced with a new tower this year.
