Hero's tale
Six-year-old Andy Hitt, son of Senior Master Sgt. Kevin Hitt, Air Armament Center, tells Col. Bill Porter, 96th Air Base Wing vice commander, about his heroic rescue June 24 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Andy was recognized by the base fire department for saving his 3-year-old brother Alex (also pictured) from drowning in March.
