Kathy Bartlett coasts to the finish of the bike ride at this year’s “My First Tri” triathlon at Eglin Air Force Base Fla., June 18. Almost 350 people of all ages “tried” at the 12th annual event. The triathlon consists of a 200-meter swim, eight-mile bike ride, then a 2.5-mile run. Bartlett was 38th overall for alumni and first in her age group finishing at 53 minutes and 31 seconds.
