Off the wing

A Miniature Air Launch Decoy-Jammer sits ready for release on the wing of an F-16 Fighting Falcon over the Gulf of Mexico during a test mission on Feb. 8. The 40th Flight Test Squadron, located at Eglin Air Force Base, FLa., launched the weapon to test its capabilities. The Miniature Air Launched Decoy-Jammer is an air-launched programmable craft that duplicates the combat flight profiles and signatures of U.S. and allied aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
