Rushed to safety

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – A Marine Corps first responder secures a neck brace on an “injured victim” during a major accident response exercise, Dec. 7, at the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal School. The event simulated an accident where a truck carrying C-4 explosives careens into a bus filled with Soldiers. The NAVEOD School performs MAREs annually to examine how effective they can respond in the event of a catastrophe while communicating and working with outside emergency agencies.
