More than 300 run in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- More than 300 runners and walkers participated in the Breast Cancer Awareness Month 5K Run, Oct. 16. The event was held to raise awareness of the importance for women to self-test and catch the disease in its early stages. Capt. Scott Griffith, Operational Flight Program Combined Test Force, and Paula Piazza, 96th Medical Operations Squadron, were the first male and female to finish the run with a time of 15:58 and 18:54, respectively.
