Spa Day

(Left to right) Tech. Sgt. Brooke Matthews, 96th Force Support Squadron, gives Maureeca Wells a manicure as part of the Hearts Apart Spa Day Sept. 19. Mrs. Wells' spouse is Tech. Sgt. James Wells, 9th Special Operations Squadron, who is deployed to Iraq. The 'spa day' had professional massages, facial massages and cosmetics. Volunteers manicured nails and provided hand massages. Several local spas donated gift certificates as well. The Hearts Apart program helps provide outreach and services to military, Department of Defense civilians and family members who are, will be or have been separated because of military commitments (deployments, temporary duties, remote tours).
