Medical squadron stands up
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Christopher Deveaux Badger, only hours old April 4, received immediate care for an accelerated heart beat after his birth in the labor and delivery unit at Eglin Hospital. The 96th Inpatient Operations Squadron at the Eglin Hospital activated when Lt. Col. Corrine Naughton assumed command during a ceremony at the Air Armament Museum here June 29. Flights form other medical squadrons were reorganized under the new unit as past of the Air Force Surgeon General Flight Plan. The 96th IPTS has three flights that operate within the squadron: the Maternal Child flight, the Multiservice Flight and the Critical Care Flight. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt. Mike Meares)
