Summer school in session

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Mackin Delgado gets hands-on experience measuring flatness using a micrometer with a monochromatic light and an optical flat at the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory June 15. Nearly 75 Academy cadets will visit for three weeks this summer as they participate in Operation Air Force, a learning program for cadets to participate in day-to-day experiences and knowledge of the Air Force.
