'My First Tri'
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Wayne McSheehy, 75, competes as one of the oldest competitors in the 8th Annual My First Tri triathlon at Post'l Point June 9. The triathlon featured a 200-meter swim, 8-mile bike ride and 2.5-mile run. A total of 150 out of the 248 triathletes were participating in their first triathlon. McSheehy, a Ft. Walton Beach resident, place 18th overall with a time of 50:42. (U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Mike Meares)
