Chaplain Beale
This photo, published in a 2004 Stars and Stripes article, features Chaplain Ken Beale (center), then rank of captain, with a cutline that said he goes into harm's way to deliver Mass while deployed to Iraq. Recently the Eglin AFB Catholic chaplain started recording songs he wrote and performed throughout his military career that reflect on his experiences. Chaplain (Maj.) Beale expects to sign a contract soon with a Tennessee recording company and have an album out by December. (U.S. Air Force photo)
