Eglin AFB hosts USJFCOM combat identification exercise
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Exercise controllers in the 46th Test Squadron?s Air Operations Center control the airspace and ground personnel participating in the Bold Quest Plus exercise held on Eglin ranges in 2008. Bold Quest Plus is designed to test in field conditions the updates and upgrades in the tactics, techniques and procedures used by coalition and U.S. forces to improve combat identification. The TTPs and technology was being developed and tested as part of the exercise, if successful, can be fielded almost immediately. (Department of Defense photo/Staff Sgt. Joe Laws)
