46th Test Squadron
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A test participant, acting as an intruder, attempts to pass through sensors field without setting off an alarm. The Infrared Intrusion Detection System (IIDS) is a long-range point-to-point programmable infrared physical sensor that provides early warning physical security protection of key assets at various remote and fixed installations. The IIDS is one of a host of Integrated Base Defense Security System sensors tested at Eglin AFB by the 46th Test Squadron under the Force Protection program. (Air Force photo)
