Badge of bravery

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Victoria Kroll, a 6-year-old child who called 9-1-1 when her mom fell in the bathroom, is presented a squadron coin by Maj. Yvonne Spencer, 96th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, during a ceremony at Station 1 March 16. The Eglin Fire Department and the 96th Civil Engineer Group honored Victoria, daughter of Tech. Sgt. Shawn Kroll, 1st Special Operations Maintenance Squadron, and Angie, as the youngest and newest member of the team for her bravery made her an honorary firefighter.
