Colonel goes on walkabout

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Col. Bruce McClintock, 96th Air Base Wing commander, signs speaks with Airmen at the 96th Communication Squadron during a weekly walkabout Jan. 30. Airmen in the communications squadron install, maintain and repair cable and antenna services for all users across Eglin's 724 square miles. They also maintain $15M Local Area Network systems and tests completed LAN installations for compliance. Colonel McClintock and Chief Master Sgt. Troy Engholm, 96th ABW command chief master sergeant, take a weekly walkabout visit to the units on base to applaud their successes and determine their needs for mission accomplishment.
