Eglin celebrates Earth Day
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Michael Applegate, Eglin Environmental Management Division chief, hands the first-place $25 Army and Air Force Exchange Service gift certificate to Summer Leim, 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron F-22 Raptor mission data test director, during the Earth Day 5k Fun Run/Walk event at Foster Stadium April 17. Ms. Leim was the first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 22:12, followed by 1st Lt. Amber Spurlock, Air Armament Center Staff Judge Advocate (24:55/$15 AAFES gift certificate) and Rhonda Widmaier, 46th Maintenance Squadron (26:30/$10 AAFES gift certificate).
