Eglin celebrates Earth Day

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Staff Sgt. Cesar Alvarado, 796th Civil Engineer Squadron structural journeyman, loads mulch into a wheel barrel. Sergeant Alvarado, Earth Day volunteers and many other 796th CES Airmen participated in the "Florida friendly" landscaping project at Bldg. 670 where they planted 350 native Florida plants which require less irrigation and helps the base conserve water.
