386th Airmen who keep the base connected
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Staff Sgt. Christopher Billings, (right), hands Airman 1st Class Theodore Nichols a bundle of fiber-optic cable March 31, 2008, at an air base in the Persian Gulf Region. The installation of the new cable will provide world wide communication access to living quarters on the base. Sergeant Billings and Airman Nichols are both cable communication and antenna maintenance specialists deployed to the 386th Expeditionary Communications Squadron.
