Youth gather for art, history

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Col. Eric Pohland, 96th Air Base Wing commander, presents certificates to the competitors in the Eglin Youth Art Contest at the base library March 11. The contest was sponsored by the Women's History Month Committee because it related to the theme of the month, "Women's Art - Women's Vision." Out of 48 entries, three winners were chosen from three age categories. Joe Blankenberger was chosen in the age 7 and under category, Gabrielle Caggiano was chosen in the age 8 to 12 category and Amber Kaderbeck was chosen in the age 13 to 17 category.
