Mobility Impaired Hunt
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Stephen Leavins helps his sister Stephanie back her wheel chair up a ramp leading into an all terrain vehicle specially designed for her by her father Earl Leavins. Stephanie is confined to a wheel chair with limited movement due to muscular dystrophy. This is her fourteenth year on the hunt. Stephanie's rifle is mounted on a swivel stand connected to her chair. By her father's design, she activates the trigger on the chair's footplate which sends an electrical charge to a solenoid, manually firing the gun. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Mike Meares)
