EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The Eglin Chapel's Protestant Men of the Chapel hosted a Men's Retreat on Nov. 7 and 8 at Duke Field. The event was free and promoted spiritual wellness to more than 65 men from three different states.
Quincy Hall led the group in their theme "Exposure to the Son will Keep You from Burning." Protestant Men of the Chapel is a nondenominational group of men from the Chapel's traditional, gospel and contemporary services ministering to the needs of other men. The group accomplishes work projects, offers Christian fellowship, studies God's word and extends a hand as an outreach to the local community. All men are welcome to attend. The group meets on the fourth or fifth Saturday of each month from 7-9 a.m. in the West Gate Chapel Annex. Breakfast is prepared followed by a devotional, study session, business meeting and fellowship. For more information, contact Chaplain John Muth at 882-2111, Dennis Moore at 729-7825, 496-9248 or Grayling Cheeks at 314-0626. (courtesy photo)
