Loading Christmas care packages

The Company Grade Officers’ Council collected more than 6,000 items and more than 1,000 handwritten Christmas cards from 12 Okaloosa County schools, area agencies and base squadrons for the packages. Volunteers, spouses and families of Eglin’s deployed troops assisted in putting together 183 care packages for shipment overseas. The total shipment weighed 926 lbs.
