Yoga
Erika DeLaCruz, a yoga class participant holds a low lunge pose on Sept. 27 at Eglin’s women’s field house. The 96th Force Support Squadron hosted the 20 hour yoga workshop designed to assist participants in gaining a deeper understanding of how trauma is stored in the body. This yoga program is different than traditional yoga practice in that it targets the healing of the central nervous system. This program’s classes focus on slower organic yoga postures and movements while creating a safe space for the trauma survivor to heal. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ilka Cole)
