Rangers honor fallen students with memorial swamp expedition

Dan Matouzzi, 6th Ranger Training Battalion, provides a first-hand account of the scenario and conditions of Feb. 16, 1995 Sept. 25 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. He and more than 40 Soldiers participated in the excursion that followed in the footsteps of the tragic squad to learn from their experience and understand what took place that night almost 20 years ago on the Eglin Air Force Base range.
