Base leadership participate in CEG demolition

Personnel from the 96th Civil Engineer Group operate a demolition excavator to tear down Bldg. 606 in the former Federal Prison Camp compound at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. on Jan. 12. The 24,529 square foot building was the dining facility for the inmates and guards and has been vacant since 2005. This building is considered excess, beyond economic repair and not usable. Demolition is estimated to be complete by the end of January. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ilka Cole)
