Polar Bear Plunge
Participants endure a brisk run in the waters of Weekly Bayou during Eglin’s annual Polar Bear Plunge at Post’l Point, Jan. 9. Approximately 50 people braved frigid morning temperatures to rush into the 57 degree water. According to local weather reports, it was 32 degrees with a 27 degree wind chill factor.
