Polar Bear Plunge

Participants race into the nippy waters of Weekly Bayou during Eglin’s annual Polar Bear Plunge event at Post’l Point, Jan. 9. Approximately 50 people braved frigid morning temperatures to rush into the 57 degree water. According to local weather reports, it was 32 degrees with a 27 degree wind chill factor.
