LRS fuels Eglin flight, missions

Senior Airman Samuel Fallon, of the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron, performs a visual analysis of a fuel sample from a fuel barge at the Weekly Bayou fuel ramp on Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Jan 15. The fuels laboratory technicians swirl the sample bottle to look for color, suspended particles, and water in the fuel. The 96th Fuels Management Flight provides fuel support to all Eglin units and manages the requisition, receipt, storage, issue, quality and accounting of all petroleum and cryogenic products here.
