Air Force Seek Eagle Mass Properties

David Whitlock, an ordnance equipment specialist with the Air Force’s Seek Eagle Mass Properties Shop, guides and secures the lid of the Joint Air-To-Surface Standoff Missile container to prevent it from damaging the missile, at the Mass Properties Measurement Facility on Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., March 24. The lid was removed from the container using a 10,000 pound remote controlled overhead hoist. AFSEO’s equipment specialists provide mass property measurements of up to 8,000 pounds through the use of stationary and mobile measurement machines in support of worldwide deployments.
