Air Force Seek Eagle Mass Properties
David Senter, an ordnance equipment specialist with the Air Force’s Seek Eagle Mass Properties Shop, operates a forklift to unload a Joint Air-To-Surface Standoff Missile from the back of a truck bed at the Mass Properties Measurement Facility on Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., March 24. The 2,000 pound class standoff cruise missile was measured by equipment specialists to determine a foundation for aircraft compatibility flight clearances. AFSEO’s equipment specialists provide mass property measurements of up to 8,000 pounds through the use of stationary and mobile measurement machines in support of worldwide deployments.
