Eglin CGOC sends packages, well wishes

Cards with patriotic appreciation messages sit ready for packages during the Company Grade Officer Council’s troop care drive at the Eglin Elementary School cafeteria June 5 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The CGOC collected cards, letters, drawings and donations from 13 Okaloosa county schools. The boxes were filled with these items along with books, coffee, magazines, snacks and various comfort items for Eglin’s deployed Airmen. Some of the items were donated by the local community through the Airman and Family Readiness Center. Volunteers packed and mailed approximately 60 care packages for Eglin’s deployed.
