Polar Bear Plunge 2016

Approximately 15 people braved the windy 46-degree temperatures and took a quick dip in the 60-degree waters of Post’l Point during this year’s Polar Bear Plunge Jan. 22 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Less than a third of those who waded into the water lasted longer than a minute before running out for blankets and hot chocolate. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
