Breast Cancer Awareness 5K

A runner leads the pack into the first turn of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5k event Oct. 14 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. More than 100 runners and walkers, many sporting pink clothing, came out to support the affair. The event was held to promote breast cancer awareness and the importance of self-examination to catch the disease in its early stages. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
