Lighting up the holidays
The base’s Christmas tree was lit up in a small, chilly ceremony Dec. 9 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The event was followed by a visit from Santa and refreshments at the base chapel. During the event, the winners of the base’s annual Christmas card competition were announced. The 96th Civil Engineer Group won this year’s prize. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
