Ranger exercise
Eglin firefighters carry a simulated wounded victim up to a safe location Feb. 5 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The exercise tested the Army’s 6th Ranger Training Battalion’s responses to and handling of a major accident deep within the Eglin range. Soldiers were the first on scene and had to manage the aftermath of a head-on collision and coordinate rescue efforts with Eglin emergency responders and county rescue teams.
