Eglin Fire and Emergency Services Airmen receive award

Eglin Fire and Emergency Services Airmen received the AMKUS Star Award for their outstanding rescue efforts during two separate emergency responses July 13 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. On July 7 and Oct. 22, 2022, members of the team responded to motor vehicle accidents on the Eglin Range. Both events required extensive use of rescue tools to extricate the victims from the crash, and use of critical life saving medical interventions. (U.S. Air Force photo/Jaime Bishopp)
