Grounded eagles returned to flight

Caden Retherford, an avian research associate, carries a juvenile bald eagle Oct. 16 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Jackson Guard provided assistance to it and another bald eagle after they got tangled together by a barbed fishing lure. The three-year-old birds of prey were not severely injured, the barbs were removed and they were release back into the wild the same day. (Courtesy image)
