EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The following disciplinary actions occurred here between July and September 2017.


A colonel from the 96th Medical Group received a forfeiture of $2,500 pay and a reprimand for fraternization.

A major from the 96th Medical Operations Squadron received a forfeiture of $1,000 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for two false official statements.

An airman from the 96th Medical Support Squadron was discharged with a General service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions.

An airman from the 96th MDSS received a reduction in rank to E-1 and a reprimand for willful dereliction of duty.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Aerospace Medicine Squadron received a reduction in rank to E-2 and a reprimand for making a false official statement.

A senior airman from the 96th Inpatient Squadron received a reduction in rank to E-3, a suspended  forfeiture of $1,062 pay per month for two months, 10 days extra duty and a reprimand for driving under the influence and assault on a law enforcement officer.

A technical sergeant from the 96th Maintenance Group received a reduction in rank to E-5, a suspended forfeiture of $1,616 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for wrongful use of marijuana.

A staff sergeant from the 96th MXG was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

An airman from the 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to E-1, a suspended forfeiture of $799 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for wrongful use of marijuana.

A senior airman from the 96th AMXS was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Maintenance Squadron was discharged with an Honorable service characterization for unsatisfactory performance.

An airman 1st class from the 96th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to E-1, forfeiture of $799 pay per month for two months, suspended, 45 days restriction to base, and a reprimand for two attempts to commit a lewd act upon a child.

An airman 1st class from the 96th SFS received a suspended reduction in rank to E-2, forfeiture of $300 pay, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for misbehavior of sentinel or lookout.

A senior airman from the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron was discharged with a General service characterization for drug abuse.

A senior airman from the 96th LRS received a suspended reduction in rank to E-3, 14 days extra duty, and a reprimand for failure to go.

An airman 1st class from the 96th LRS received a reduction in rank to E-2, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for failure to obey a lawful order.

An airman from the 96th LRS received a reduction in rank to E-1, forfeiture of $799 pay per month for two months, 30 days restriction to base, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for failure to obey a lawful order.

An airman basic from the 96th LRS was discharged with a General service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions.

An airman 1st class from the 96th LRS received a suspended reduction in rank to E-2, a suspended forfeiture of $942 pay, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand for two failures to go and dereliction of duty.

A staff sergeant from the 33rd AMXS received a reduction in rank to E-4, a suspended forfeiture of $1,267 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for wrongful use of cocaine.

An airman 1st class from the 33rd AMXS received a reduction in rank to E-2, forfeiture of $896 per month for two months and a reprimand for wrongful use of amphetamine.

A technical sergeant from the 33rd Maintenance Squadron was discharged with a General service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions.

A staff sergeant from the 359th Training Squadron was discharged with an Honorable service characterization for a fitness assessment failure.
