Chief Master Sergeant Adam J. Guest

Chief Master Sergeant Adam J. Guest is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 96th Test Wing, Air Force Materiel Command, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He leads more than 9,800 military, civilian, and contractor personnel, in accomplishing the 96th Test Wing's mission. The 96th Test Wing has eight groups and 32 squadrons, operates 38 uniquely modified test aircraft, and manages 120,000 square miles of over-water test ranges plus facilities in six states. He also directs all base operating support, infrastructure, and services support for the Air Force's largest installation at 724 square miles. The 96th Test Wing hosts nine tenant wings and wing equivalent units, and 37 other associate units, including the U.S. Army's 6th Ranger Training Battalion and the 20th Space Surveillance Squadron. As command chief, he interacts with local officials across a three- county, 11-city region with an annual military economic impact of $10.8 billion.

Chief Guest grew up in Chamberlain, South Dakota, and entered the Air Force in June 1998 as a Munitions Systems Apprentice. Throughout his career, he has filled a myriad of roles including Wing Weapons Safety Manager, First Sergeant, Munitions Accountability Systems Officer, and at the squadron and group levels. Chief Guest has deployed in support of Operations NORTHERN WATCH, SOUTHERN WATCH, ALLIED FORCE, NEW DAWN, ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. Prior to his current role, he served as Command Chief, 1st Fighter Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis AFB, Va.
