EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Plenty of stripes and formal blues were on display Jan. 19 at the annual Chief Recognition Ceremony here.

The ceremony, held at the Bayview Club, was a way to recognize the base’s newest chief master sergeants and selects and those who helped get them to the highest Air Force enlisted rank.

The Airmen honored were:

Matthew Coltrin, 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron
Marbris Dillard, 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Melissa Levister, 96th Operations Support Squadron
Harley McCurter, 96th Civil Engineer Squadron
Cynthia Porras, 96th Aerospace Medicine Squadron
Michael Sylvester, 96th Communications Squadron
